The science and philosophy
6 Week Workshop
In this 6 week course you will learn 6 different techniques to help you achieve a meditative state. Learn the difference between meditation techniques and meditation as well as the science versus the philosophy of meditation.
We explore the benefits of practice and discuss the challenges of developing a regular routine. We begin each session with some gentle stretching and learn why keeping the body flexible and strong can help achieve a better meditation.
The course sessions run for 1 hour and 15 mins and include silent meditation time as well as discussion to assist participants in overcoming challenges. Participants are welcome to attend subsequent courses as a refresher to help establish a regular meditation routine.
The sessions are held in North Fitzroy or North Carlton.
Private Meditation Classes
Private Meditation Classes are ideal for those who would like a tailor made programme to support them in establishing a regular meditation practise. The benefits of meditation can only be realised through the discipline of making time daily. Private classes are useful for those who are time poor and don't know which techniques to try.

About the Teacher
Elena is a member of Meditation Association of Australia. She trained as a yoga teacher 17 years ago and brings together the philosophy and science meditation.
A dedicated meditation practice reminds us that we are connected, teaches us to focus our minds and helps us to navigate the challenges of everyday living. Over time our lives become a meditation. Elena hopes to develop a community of meditators in Melbourne, specifically the inner north, in order for everyone to find some peace in our busy adrenaline filled lives!
